Welcome to the New Zealand Resuscitation Council

Resuscitation involves a chain of care from the time of onset through to recovery. Every group within this chain of care has an important part to play in the survival of New Zealanders facing medical crisis.

Resources

The New Zealand Resuscitation Council produces written guidelines, books, posters and other educational resources, and has training officers who certify instructors at all levels.

Training

The New Zealand Resuscitation Council trains and certifies resuscitation instructors, at Levels 2 (Lay Rescuers), 3 (First Responders) and at Levels 4-7 (Health Professionals). Interested in a course? View upcoming events on the calendar.
