The New Zealand Resuscitation Council is the guideline and standard setting body for resuscitation in New Zealand. The Council was established in 1996 to: Foster and promote excellence and consistency, in the education and practice of resuscitation Provide a forum for discussion and a resource for people involved in the research and training of resuscitation.
The Council produces written guidelines, books, posters and other educational resources, and has training officers who certify instructors at lay and health professional levels.

You are welcome to contribute to our discussion forum which is subdivided into sections covering different topics and levels of resuscitation. Contributors or visitors to the forum need to register first. Sections are accessible to all interested parties but some will have restricted access. The purpose of the forum is to encourage discussions that will contribute to the further development of resuscitation standards, training and research in New Zealand.
