The NZRC CORE Certification Instructor course requires satisfactory acquisition of theoretical knowledge and performance of simulated practical skills.
The NZRC Core Certification Instructor Course costs $960+GST
The NZRC Instructor Course for Levels 4-7 is a two day course, conducted in Hamilton. These are facilitated by a six week period of self-directed learning, attendance at a course of practical skill development and formal assessment. In addition, the course involves instruction and assessment of teaching of skill stations and scenarios.
To qualify for entry to this course all candidates must:
• Have a health professional background
• Have completed a Provider course within 6 months prior to attending the core certification instructor course
• Be recommended by his/her workplace
• Intend to be actively involved in teaching CORE Certification in his/her work environment

Waikato Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre. Start time for both days is 8.00am sharp with the first day finishing at 5.00pm and the second day at 4.45pm.
It is each candidates obligation to find accommodation as this is not part of the course fees.
Once the candidate has been notified that their nomination has been successful he/she will be asked to complete a declaration form and an observer form and return both forms to the Administration Coordinator.
Once these forms have been received the Administration Coordinator will contact the candidate to confirm a booking date.
