New Zealand Resuscitation Council endorses Community Sector themes

3 June 2014

The New Zealand Resuscitation Council supports the three themes nominated to advance the community sector.

‘Leave no one behind’ is consistent with our vision that every New Zealander has access to resuscitation practice and education that is consistent and of high standard and the best possible outcome from immediate threats to life and limb.

‘Strong communities need strong community organisations’ speaks to our role as advocates and leaders in providing the government and public with informed consensus on resuscitation and emergency care.

‘A capable and sustainable community sector’ underscores the Council's value that investment in research and evaluation is used to improve resuscitation outcomes for New Zealand communities.
